Poltava University of Economics and Trade offers a 50 % discount on first year tuition fees for new students who apply for studies under the martial law conditions!!!
Terms of getting discount:
– your invitations for studies should be registered before the end of martial law in Ukraine (currently until May 24, 2022, this period may be extended);
– the period of the invitation validity is 6 months from the date of registration (this period may be increased up to 1 year);
– discount is provided for the first year of study depending on the chosen study level (language course / 1st year of bachelor / 1st year of master).
Discount will not be provided for the students whose invitations will be registered after the end of martial law.

At this stage you’ll have to apply for invitation. Send us the documents (check list of documents to apply for invitation) and we’ll issue an invitation for you. It takes from 1 to 3 working days to issue the invitation and nearly 10 days to deliver the original invitation to you via postal/courier service. NOTE, that invitation for study will be sent to you after you cover its cost. This is the only expense you carry before arrival to Ukraine (except visa expenses).
You’ll have to bring all the original documents with you when you arrive in Ukraine to finish the enrollment to the University process (check list of documents for enrollment).
After receiving the invitation, you have to apply for Ukrainian Visa. NOTE, that the University is not authorized to provide visa assistance or give any information in this regard. Contact our authorized partners in your country for details (CONTACTS) or get in touch directly with the Embassy of Ukraine in your country.
At this stage you’ll have to contact the Ukrainian Embassy in your country to apply for Study Visa.

As soon as you get your visa issued, inform us about it and only after that buy the ticket to Ukraine.
Make sure that you’ll contact us, send us your ticket details and we’ll arrange meeting you at the airport! Remember, that meeting international students at the airport is the compulsory requirement of State Border Control Service of Ukraine. You will be appointed the person responsible to secure your safe and successful crossing the border, arriving to Poltava and accommodation at hostel.
Note that all candidates for study have to come to University no later than 15 days before visa expires and no later than 5 days after crossing the board of Ukraine. Otherwise their admission is being cancelled and students come back home.
Inform us about the date and time of your arrival to Ukraine 2 weeks in advance. Send us your ticket details and copy of your visa. We’ll meet you at the airport. All international students must be met by the representative of the University with the appropriate letter.

Upon arrival to Poltava, address to International Students Department (room 500) as soonest to finish your enrollment process (submit the originals of documents from (check list of documents for enrollment), cover the tuition fees and accommodation fees, make a local registration at State Migration Service and start your studies.
